Kalesa Coffee is a Filipino-American cafe based in Portland, OR. The owners reached out to me to design a logo inspired by a kalesa horse. A kalesa is a two-wheeled horse-drawn carriage used in the Philippines

The owners decided to go without the carriage and just have the horse for the logo. Here are some additional options and mockups before the final version was chosen. It was a fun journey!
